A Mental Health Champion is an advocate for creating and promoting supportive mentally healthy environments within their State Sporting Association (SSA).
Have you completed a Mental Health Workshop and/or your Mental Health eLearning and are passionate about learning more about mental health and wellbeing in sport? Are you interested in equipping yourself with skills to better support your own mental health as well as the wellbeing of your colleagues and members?
SportWest, thanks to support from the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport launched a Mental Health Champions Network continues to build momentum and proactive mental health support for the WA sporting sector.
As a member of the Mental Health Champions Network, you will gain exclusive access to specialised industry training in the mental health and wellbeing sector, as well as the opportunity to connect with other State Sporting Organisation administrators in a safe and educational environment.
